Whitley Penn Acquires Fellow Lone Star State Firm

Expanding its presence in its home state, Fort Worth, Texas-based IPA 100 firm Whitley Penn LLP (FY22 net revenue of $189.6 million) has acquired IPA 500 firm Fisher Herbst & Kemble PC (FHK) (FY22 net revenue of $5.9 million) of San Antonio.

Founded in 1983, FHK provides audit, tax and consulting services to a wide variety of clients, including financial institutions, construction companies and retailers.

“Expanding our presence into all major markets in the state of Texas is an incredible milestone,” says Whitley Penn MP and CEO Larry Autrey. “We believe that this integration will enable us to provide even more value to our clients, and we look forward to all the great things that we can achieve together.”
