Fort Worth, Texas-based IPA 100 firm Whitley Penn LLP (FY22 net revenue of $189.6 million) has hired Brandon Neely as its new general counsel and chief risk officer.
A CPA and licensed attorney in the state of Texas, Neely has experience in legal research, legal writing and strategic planning for business transactions, personal injury defense and business litigation, as well as commercial insurance for a variety of industries. He formerly served as general counsel for a venture capital-backed company, as well as an auditor for national and international companies primarily in the oil and gas industry.
