Maner Costerisan Launches Municipality Consulting Service

Taylor

Lansing, Mich.-based IPA 200 firm Maner Costerisan (FY21 net revenue of $29.1 million) has launched a new consulting service to assist government clients with their fiscal and operational structures.

Led by new senior governmental consultant Rod Taylor, the municipality consulting services team will work directly with Michigan municipalities on issues related to operational planning, organization enhancement and operational assistance, including reviewing financial controls, performing risk assessments, preparing budgets, identifying grant opportunities, providing key staff support during transitions and reviewing capital improvement plans.

Taylor brings nearly 30 years of experience to his new role. He recently served as a division administrator for the State of Michigan, where he assisted local governments with maintaining strong fiscal and operational health and leveraged statistical analysis to identify local units in fiscal or operational distress, and proactively worked with them to address their challenges.

“Rod’s deep experience and tremendous passion for helping government entities succeed make him the best person to lead our new municipality consulting services team,” says principal and director Bill Tucker. “With his expertise and leadership, the firm looks forward to providing consulting support to more municipalities across the state.”
