Bolstering its financial institutions group, Troy, Mich.-based IPA 100 firm Doeren Mayhew (FY21 net revenue of $94.6 million) has acquired the Small Business Administration (SBA) consulting practice of St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Garcia & Ortiz PA, along with its proprietary GOLoan Review software.
Garcia & Ortiz has provided SBA loan review and compliance consulting services for nearly a decade. Led by Leslie Tripp, the practice has completed more than 15,000 SBA loan reviews and developed its own proprietary software to help lenders review their 7(a) loans for compliance to standard operating procedures.
