High Point, N.C.-based Smith Leonard PLLC is acquiring Whisnant & Company LLP of Hickory, N.C., effective Jan. 1.
Founded in 1974, Whisnant & Company provides tax, audit, accounting and management advisory services to a variety of clients throughout Hickory and its surrounding areas.
“Smith Leonard and Whisnant are very familiar with one another, having collaborated on various projects over the years,” says Smith Leonard MP Mark Bulmer. “The Hickory market is one where we already spend a lot of time, so this acquisition will strengthen our presence and the service we provide to our clients in the area.”
