FORVIS Merges In Oklahoma Firm

IPA 100 firm FORVIS (FY22 net revenue of $1.49 billion) has acquired Clinton, Okla.-based James R. Minnix CPA PC.

Tracing its history in Oklahoma back to the 1960s, Minnix provides tax and outsourced accounting services to clients throughout the state from offices in Clinton and Oklahoma City. As part of the deal that closed on Dec. 12, 14 new team members have joined FORVIS, including owner and president James “Rusty” Minnix, who has been admitted as a partner.

“With the evolution of our industry, we are seeing high demand for outsourced accounting and tax management services that Minnix has extensive experience providing,” says Carley Williams, MP of FORVIS’ Oklahoma practice unit. “Rusty and his team bring a personalized approach to client service and, together, we will continue to provide innovative offerings that fit our clients’ unique needs.”
