Cherry Bekaert Acquires Growth and Innovation Consulting Firm

Richmond, Va.-based IPA 100 firm Cherry Bekaert (FY22 net revenue of $293 million) has acquired Boston-based boutique growth and innovation consulting firm Treacy & Company.

Founded by business performance researcher Michael Treacy in 2006, Treacy & Company works with a wide range of organizations to design and deploy a variety of growth, innovation and digital strategies. The deal expands Cherry Bekaert’s footprint in Boston and Chicago, while also strengthening the firm’s industry depth in consumer products, manufacturing, automotive and health care.

“With the addition of Treacy & Company’s deep strategic skillset, we will be able to contribute more meaningfully to our clients’ strategic needs, while attracting and retaining top talent to master the tools of growth and innovation,” says Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC CEO Michelle Thompson. “We are delighted to have their organization join us as they will be a real differentiator and help us better serve our clients holistically.”

“Our leading innovation and growth offerings combined with Cherry Bekaert’s broad portfolio of advisory services means we can provide end-to-end support for profitable growth to our clients,” adds Treacy & Company MP Josh Coleman.
