Aprio Admits Two New Partners

Atlanta-based IPA 100 firm Aprio LLP (FY21 net revenue of $170.8 million) has admitted Dmitri Alexeev and Joseph Wallace to its partnership.

Alexeev is based in San Francisco and will lead the firm’s national blockchain and digital assets practice, helping companies of all sizes build better tax governance and reporting with a focus on financial reporting, finance and strategic planning. His background includes federal and California tax controversy experience, including accounting method changes, with clients in the technology, blockchain and renewable energy industries.

Based in the Birmingham, Ala., office, Wallace is focused on affordable housing tax compliance and planning. His experience includes working the entire lifecycle of affordable housing projects, advising clients on low-income historic deals, state tax credits, solar incentives and capital account problems.

“We’re excited to welcome Dmitri and Joseph to the team as they are leaders in their fields and each have incredible experience and extensive backgrounds that they are bringing to Aprio, growing the technology and affordable housing practices,” says Mitchell Kopelman, national tax practice co-chair and national technology and blockchain leader.
