Muncie, Ind.-based Whitinger & Company is merging in J.P. Kane & Co. of Anderson, Ind.
Founded in 1997, J.P. Kane provides tax preparation and planning for businesses and individuals, as well as accounting services including compilations, financial statement reporting, bookkeeping, payroll and QuickBooks consulting. As part of the deal, principal John Kane will be admitted as a Whitinger member/owner and will oversee the firm’s office in Fishers, Ind.
