IPA 100 firm Los Angeles-based MGO (FY21 net revenue of $98.1 million) has admitted Tony Smalls as a partner to lead its entertainment, sports and media practice from a newly launched Atlanta office.
Smalls has more than 25 years of business management and tax experience serving athletes, high-net-worth individuals and entertainers in the areas of accounting, finance, tax strategy, financial planning, financial reporting and contract/deal negotiations. He has also worked with due diligence teams on prospective investments including television productions and live music tours. Prior to joining MGO, he was a partner and COO of the business management and tax firm Superior Business Management Inc.
“Bringing Tony on board adds another star to MGO’s best-in-class entertainment, sports and media team,” says MGO CEO and MP Kevin O’Connell. “He’s an innovator in the space and his background working with some of the most influential athletes and entertainers in the world will complement and strengthen our firm’s existing practice.”
