PYA Admits Three New Principals

Knoxville, Tenn.-based IPA 100 firm PYA PC has admitted the following three professionals as principals:

Rhonda Hampton joins the firm as a tax principal and serves as the director of state and local taxation. She has nearly three decades of experience researching state and local tax issues and developing tax planning strategies as a state and local tax advisor, focusing on diligence reviews, nexus studies, audit and voluntary disclosure agreement negotiation, issues research, refund reviews and other state tax consulting projects.

Brad Leskoven has been promoted to tax principal and will continue to serve as the director of tax operations in Atlanta. With more than two decades of business advisory experience, he is responsible for developing and implementing specialized tax services for physician practices and other health care organizations, with particular focus on business structuring, M&A, ownership changes, succession planning and compensation arrangements. He also has experience providing estate and personal financial planning services to high-net-worth individuals and family offices, and has served clients across the professional services, real estate development, hospitality and IT industries.

George “Deuce” Lukemeyer II joins the firm as a health care consulting principal with nearly three decades of experience with physician operations and compensation design. His experience includes the development of integrated care delivery networks serving health systems and hospitals of all sizes and types, including safety-net county hospitals, major academic hospitals, critical access hospitals, federally qualified health centers and rural health clinics.

“As our firm continues to grow, we look for leaders that embody the spirit of PYA’s mission: helpful, responsive and lifelong learners,” says PYA president and CEO Marty Brown. “These three share these traits, as well as the skill and experience that will benefit our clients and the communities we serve.”
