Extending its footprint to South Florida, Atlanta-based IPA 100 firm Aprio LLP (FY21 net revenue of $170.8 million) is merging in Salver & Cook LLP of Weston, Fla.
Salver & Cook provides a range of tax and accounting services to a clientele made up largely of small to mid-sized, closely held, private companies across South Florida, with a specialization in international tax compliance. When the deal becomes effective on Aug. 1, firm partners Cory Cook and Vanessa Piedrahita, along with more than 20 Miami-based team members and 12 professionals in Medellin, Colombia, will join the Aprio team.
“Salver & Cook has a strong service foundation across international tax consulting and compliance, which aligns with Aprio’s goals to build out our international service lines and serve clients where they need the support,” says Aprio CEO and MP Richard Kopelman. “This combination will serve as Aprio’s gateway to South and Central America, and we’re excited to navigate what’s next for our team members and our clients.”
