San Francisco-based IPA 100 firm Andersen (FY21 net revenue of $450.3 million) has admitted Tony Brown as a managing director in its U.S. national tax practice (USNT) in Washington.
Brown has experience leading outbound and inbound real estate transactions, private partner conversions and public offerings, as well as structuring private equity funds in multiple industries to accommodate U.S. taxable investors, U.S. tax-exempt investors, foreign investors and qualified foreign pension funds. Prior to joining Andersen, he was part of the national transaction tax practice at Big 4 firm EY, and was previously a partner at Arthur Andersen, where he served as head of the U.S. real estate industry practice and led the mid-Atlantic tax practice.
“Tony’s expertise in real estate and financial services is a great addition to our USNT team and to our transactions practice, real estate practice and the mid-Atlantic market,” says U.S. country managing director Dan DePaoli.
