Whetstone
Cleveland-based IPA 100 firm Cohen & Company (FY21 net revenue of $111.9 million) has admitted Tracy Whetstone as an assurance partner in its Chicago office.
Whetstone has over 30 years of professional experience specializing in audit and advisory engagements, with a background that includes risk management, technical and developmental training programs, and employee engagement and mentoring programs. In her new role, she will perform engagement quality control reviews for registered fund clients and assist the firm internally with independence matters and PCAOB inspections.
“Tracy brings such a deep level of technical expertise in critical areas,” says Aly Cottam, PIC of risk and quality management. “Her experience in public and private accounting with respect to regulatory and technical accounting matters will add to the vigilance of our entire team responsible for managing risk both for our clients and our firm.”
