In a move that will grow its California team to more than 700 people, IPA 100 firm CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP) (FY21 net revenue of $1.45 billion) is merging in Salinas, Calif.-based Hayashi Wayland, effective Nov. 1.
Founded in 1976, Hayashi Wayland provides traditional accounting services for individuals and businesses, as well as advisory regarding family office, general business, estate and trust, and retirement and investment planning. The firm’s industry niches include agriculture, hospitality, wineries and vineyards, non-profit organizations and governmental agencies. When the deal is completed on Nov. 1, Hayashi Wayland more than 80 team members will continue to serve clients locally and nationally from the firm’s four California locations in Salinas, Paso Robles, King City and Carmel.
“The Hayashi Wayland team members are a natural complement to the CLA family with strong alignment to the CLA culture and purpose,” says CLA chief geographic officer Scott Engelbrecht.
