The Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA) has selected Debbie Thaw as chair of its board of directors for the 2022-23 fiscal year.
Thaw has been a member of GSCPA for more than four decades, having previously served as president of the educational foundation, as well as terms as a statewide director and treasurer on the GSCPA board of directors. She is the president and co-founder of Thaw & Company PC of St. Simons Island, Ga.
“As the landscape under, around and in the profession continues to shift, Debbie’s no-nonsense, take-action style will lend itself perfectly to guiding GSCPA in the next year,” says GSCPA CEO Boyd Search.
