Assurance partner Stacy LaMontagne has been elected to the board of directors, and principal and tax technical director Mark Giallonardo has been re-elected to the executive board at Richmond, Va.-based IPA 100 firm Cherry Bekaert (FY21 net revenue of $252.1 million).
LaMontagne has 19 years of experience developing and executing growth strategies for private equity and venture capital-backed technology companies and their entrepreneurs. Giallonardo has more than 35 years of experience and serves as PIC of the firm’s South Florida practice, focusing on pass-through entity and individual taxation, tax controversy and dispute resolution, primarily for the real estate, construction and professional services industries.
LaMontagne and Giallonardo will join other members of the board, including CEO/MP Michelle Thompson and partners John Jobe V, Christopher Rux, Christopher Truitt and David Bettler. Both will serve a three-year term, which concludes on the 2024 annual partners meeting.
