Springfield, Mo.-based IPA 100 firm BKD LLP (FY21 net revenue of $758.1 million) has admitted Heather Townsend-Macan as a partner in its national commercial services group. Working out of the firm’s Des Moines, Iowa, office, she will provide leadership for audit and advisory services for clients in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, food and agriculture, telecommunications, technology, transportation energy and retail.
Townsend-Macan has experience advising and auditing public and large privately held companies ranging in revenue up to $3 billion in a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, retail, pharmaceutical and specialty finance. Her experience encompasses financial reporting, international operations, acquisitions and divestitures, internal controls, taxation and operational controls. Prior to joining BKD, she spent 27 years with a large international firm.
