CRI Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer and Chief Legal Officer

Enterprise, Ala.-based IPA 100 firm Carr Riggs & Ingram LLC (CRI) (FY23 net revenue of $455.3 million) announced the appointment of Jean Mathews as CFO and Patrick J. Gordon as chief legal officer (CLO). These additions to CRI’s leadership team seek to strengthen corporate infrastructure and further support the firm’s stability, compliance and sustainable growth objectives.

Mathews has 31 years of experience in financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, reporting, payroll, treasury and investor relations. Her previous experience includes serving as CFO of a high-growth public accounting firm, as the director of finance for a multinational toy and entertainment company and as an auditor for a Big Four accounting firm.

Gordon brings extensive experience to his role as CLO at CRI. He has served as a legal advisor for a top-15-ranked accounting firm and as a litigator for prominent New York City law firms. His expertise encompasses regulatory compliance, risk management, governance and strategic counsel.
