Forvis Mazars Named Thomas Kienzle to Lead German Desk

IPA 100 firm Forvis Mazars (FY24 net revenue $2.15 billion) announced Thomas Kienzle will lead the firm’s German Desk, enhancing services for clients with business interests in both the U.S. and German markets.

Kienzle brings 12 years of experience from a major international firm in Germany and the United States. As a licensed CPA in both countries and fluent in both languages, Kienzle will personally focus on audit as well as financial accounting services and will leverage expertise across the firm in areas such as transfer pricing, tax compliance, international tax services and M&A due diligence.

“I’m excited to serve such a dynamic group of clients,” Kienzle says. “Germany is the third-largest foreign direct investor in the U.S. market and there are more than 6,000 subsidiaries of German-headquartered entities in this country. The business relationship between the countries is robust, and I am eager to strengthen those ties by helping clients find solutions for their most complex, cross-border issues.”

“A targeted strategy and effective implementation are essential for international activities,” said Michael Coletti, partner and global business leader for Forvis Mazars in the U.S. “Thomas’ efforts will help our German client companies in the United States mitigate risks, drive efficiencies and navigate the complexities of the U.S. market.”
