Chicago-based Grant Thornton (FY23 net revenue of $2.4 billion) has admitted its annual class of new partners.
In total, Grant Thornton Advisors, which provides non-attest services, admitted nine new principals and promoted 22 professionals to managing directors. At the same time, Grant Thornton, which provides attest services, admitted 13 new partners and promoted 12 professionals to managing directors. These appointments and promotions were effective Aug. 1.
Seth Siegel, CEO of Grant Thornton Advisors, emphasizes that the newly named leaders will serve clients with excellence and propel Grant Thornton forward.

Of the newly promoted professionals, the largest number (44%) practice in audit and assurance at Grant Thornton, followed by professionals at Grant Thornton Advisors working in the tax (27%), advisory (20%) and internal services (9%) areas.
