Kansas City, Mo.-based IPA top 100 firm RubinBrown (FY23 net revenue of $196 million) is joining forces with The Rybar Group.
The Rybar Group, a national health care consulting firm based in the Detroit area, focuses on delivering leading-edge financial management and reimbursement services to providers around the country. Since 1989, The Rybar Group has been a trusted source for health care providers seeking to optimize their financial viability.
The newly combined firm will operate within RubinBrown’s Consulting Services Group, significantly enhancing the firm’s health care services offerings. This strategic addition will provide extensive health care-related services to health care systems, hospitals, physicians and more. RubinBrown’s expanded capabilities will focus on reimbursement, including revenue cycle services, cost reports, coding-related services, physician education, volume decrease adjustment appeals, and serving as an outsourced reimbursement department for hospitals.
Additionally, RubinBrown will collaborate with CPAs and attorneys to deliver comprehensive support to their health care clients, ensuring the highest level of expertise and service in navigating complex reimbursement challenges.
Richard Reid will be joining as a partner in the firm, and nearly 20 Rybar team members are also joining RubinBrown, operating primarily in the Detroit area, but serving clients across the country.
This combination comes on the heels of three recent acquisitions in consulting services for RubinBrown. RubinBrown combined with KnowledgePath Consulting in March 2023, Himes Consulting Group in July 2022 and Liberty Technology Advisors in August 2021.
