Fargo, N.D.-based IPA 100 firm Eide Bailly (FY23 net revenue of $616.5 million) announced that Akron, Ohio-based Apple Growth Partners, with locations across the Great Lakes region, will become part of Eide Bailly on June 24.
“Our goals have not changed, but the world has. Staying a regional firm would not allow us to remain competitive, and our employees and clients deserve the best. Joining forces with Eide Bailly was an easy decision because we share the same values, especially in how we take care of each other and our clients,” AGP chairman Chuck Mullen said in a statement. “Eide Bailly sets itself apart with its business and technology expertise and unparalleled culture. We’re thrilled this union will allow us to stay true to our current culture while also providing new opportunities for collaboration, additional resources for our clients, and expanded benefits and opportunities for our staff.”
The union will bring 24 partners and 125 staff into Eide Bailly and expand the firm’s footprint in the Great Lakes region with offices in Akron, Cleveland and Canton, Ohio; Schaumburg, Il.; and Charlotte, N.C.
“AGP has a strong workplace culture and a commitment to authenticity, exceptional service and taking care of each other,” stated Jeremy Hauk, MP/CEO of Eide Bailly. “It was evident from our initial meeting with the AGP leadership that they would be a great addition.”
The partnership marks Eide Bailly’s first office east of the Mississippi. The addition of the Ohio market is a significant milestone in the firm’s over 100-year history and the second largest acquisition, Eide Bailly announced.
