Jana Cinnamon
Edina, Minn.-based IPA 200 firm Abdo LLP (FY22 net revenue of $33.6 million) has announced that its COO and partner, Jana Cinnamon, has been named chair of the CPA Firm Management Association (CPAFMA), effective Jan. 1.
In this role, Cinnamon will guide the national organization that supports leaders in CPA firm operations. CPAFMA was established 40 years ago with the mission to facilitate communication among accounting firm managers and to leverage collective experiences in the evolving profession. She served as the organization’s vice chair in 2023.
During her 11 years at Abdo, Cinnamon has been instrumental in managing key operational areas and demonstrating a comprehensive approach to leadership. Her strategic insight and dedication to maintaining a positive culture have significantly contributed to the firm’s overall growth and success. She became the firm’s first non-CPA partner in 2022.
“I am honored to become the Chair of the CPAFMA,” Cinnamon said. “I look forward to working with our board and helping to cultivate a community of mutual growth and support in the accounting profession.”
