Houston-based IPA 100 firm Weaver (FY24 net revenue of $328 million) has announced that Carey Savio (Marshall) has joined the firm as a partner in the commercial audit practice. Based in New York, Savio has nearly 25 years of audit and assurance experience, enhancing Weaver’s growing presence in the Northeast.
Known for her ability to navigate complex accounting challenges, Savio’s industry experience spans distribution, construction leasing, retail and media and entertainment. Throughout a long career in the Big Four, she led audits for a broad client portfolio ranging from Fortune 500 publicly traded companies to privately held businesses. In addition to her extensive client work, Savio has served in leadership roles focused on talent development and campus recruiting. She has also worked as a faculty network member, delivering training on technical accounting and auditing matters.
