IPA 100 firm Forvis Mazars (FY24 net revenue $2.15 billion) announced Rich Cropper has joined as a principal with the firm’s assurance team in Charlotte, N.C.
In his new role with Forvis Mazars, Cropper will focus on providing audit services to SEC-registered and international bank clients. He will also focus on U.S. banking regulatory requirements and reporting for middle-market and global banks, risk and control framework optimization and internal audit outsourcing.

Cropper has more than 16 years of experience leading audits for clients in the financial services industry across the UK, EU and United States. He has worked with numerous global, super-regional and middle-market banks during his career, and specializes in the audit of SEC filers. In his former role, Cropper spent two years focusing on improving audit quality and the continuing development of an audit firm’s systems of quality control, audit methodology and its interaction with the PCAOB. He has broad banking experience through his work with global and local institutions, providing consulting services to treasury, regulatory, finance, compliance and internal audit groups throughout his career.
