Edina, Minn.-based IPA 200 firm Abdo LLP (FY23 net revenue of $45.09 million) announced the appointment of Abigail (Abby) Smith as its first-ever CFO.
Smith is rejoining Abdo after having previously worked with the firm for three and a half years, during which time she served in Abdo’s nonprofit division. Most recently, she was the director, corporate controller and treasurer at Intricon Corporation, a manufacturer of sensor-driven micromedical devices.
“We’re delighted to have Abby back on our team and taking on this new role,” said Steve McDonald, Abdo MP. “Our business has become more complex with increased volume, making the role of the CFO essential. Abby will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations and contributing to our strategic planning.
