The Ohio Society of CPAs Announces Leadership Transition

The Ohio Society of CPAs has announced that after 12 years as president and CEO, Scott Wiley will be stepping down from his role. Effective Jan.13, Laura Hay, OSCPA’s executive VP, will succeed Wiley as president & CEO.

Hay will be the first female and first CPA to lead the 100+-year-old organization. She has dedicated her career to OSCPA, enhancing the profession’s reputation and strengthening its impact across Ohio and beyond.

“Laura’s extensive experience and proven leadership within OSCPA make her the ideal choice to lead us into the future,” said Rick Fedorovich, executive chairman of BMF CPAs and OSCPA board chair. “Her strategic vision and unwavering commitment to innovation will build on the stability, strength and success Scott has fostered. We are deeply grateful for Scott’s contributions and wish him every success in his next chapter.”

“Laura is a leader who cares about developing people and building strong teams. I trust her—and more importantly, Ohio CPAs trust her,” Wiley said. “With Laura at the helm, OSCPA’s best days are ahead.”

“I am honored to lead this remarkable organization and deeply inspired by the trust and commitment of our statewide membership,” said Hay. “With the dedication of our dynamic staff and the vision of our board, I am confident that we can achieve extraordinary things together.”
