PBMares Adds Eight New Partners

Newport News Va.-based IPA top 100 firm PBMares (FY23 net revenue of $80.4 million) has announced eight new partners, effective Jan. 1.

Three of the new partners are internal promotions:

  • Bronach Branan – Consulting (Newport News)
  • Sterling Journigan – Tax (Wilmington, N.C.)
  • Ryan Young – Tax (Norfolk, Va.)

CEO Harvey L. Johnson said, “This is a huge career milestone for these individuals. They were chosen out of an extremely talented pool of candidates because of their technical expertise, client service excellence, mentorship, and leadership.”

Five of the new partners are coming on board as a result of PBMares’ merger with Fairfax, Va.-based accounting firm BSB CPAs + Advisors:

  • Michael Crichton – Tax
  • Thomas Crutchfield – Tax
  • Joseph English – Tax
  • Deborah Harris – Consulting
  • Carolyn Lohr – Tax
