IPA 100 firm Forvis Mazars (FY24 net revenue $2.15 billion) announced that Steve Whetstine has joined the firm as a partner in the audit practice at the firm’s Jacksonville, Fla., office.
Whetstine brings nearly 30 years of experience working with companies across various industries. Before joining Forvis Mazars in October, Whetstine worked for a large international firm, where he served large and mid-size public and private companies and acted as an engagement quality review partner for international financial reporting standards audits. He was also involved in various audit quality initiatives, including internal inspections and in-flight review programs.
“Steve’s extensive experience and leadership skills, as well as his demonstrated commitment to audit quality, will be tremendous assets to our clients and to our firm,” said Paul Thompson, MP for the Florida practice unit at Forvis Mazars. “This move is also aligned with our strategic initiatives and commitment to grow our Florida presence.”
