IPA 100 firm Forvis Mazars (FY24 net revenue $2.15 billion) announced it is expanding its presence in Florida with the addition of Orlando, Fla.-based firm MSL PA, effective Nov. 1. This strategic acquisition significantly bolsters Forvis Mazars’ growing presence in the state by adding approximately 120 professionals, including 14 partners and three new office locations in Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Tallahassee.
The move will quickly create synergies for clients in the Tampa market, where both firms have offices. “MSL has an incredible reputation in Florida, and we are excited about the opportunities to leverage each other’s strengths to serve clients here in new and dynamic ways,” said Paul Thompson, Florida MP for Forvis Mazars.
“Cultural alignment and a common vision of sustainable growth and high-quality service were the driving factors behind this agreement,” said David Dills, southeast regional MP for Forvis Mazars. “MSL’s complimentary geography, industry specialization, exceptional leadership, and up-and-coming talent are all phenomenal additions to our growing firm.”
“This move greatly enhances the resources and services we can provide to clients and opens up extraordinary new opportunities for our team members,” said Kevin Murphy, president of MSL. “Clients will have access to a deeper bench of professionals and specialists—in Florida, across the country, and around the world thanks to the Forvis Mazars global network. Our people will see rewarding career options serving new industries, and they will be able to tap into Forvis Mazars’ award-winning training and professional development programs.”
