Savannah, Ga.-based Hancock Askew & Co. has announced that Barry Coates has joined the leadership team as its CFO.
Coates will lead and manage the firm’s internal finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting and forecasting, budget management and strategic growth initiatives.
Coates has more than 25 years of experience in management consulting with a focus on the office of the CFO. He has worked extensively in mergers and acquisitions, sales operations and helping scale growth-oriented organizations. Prior to joining Hancock Askew, he served as the CFO of a non-profit organization and as a CFO for a technology consulting company.
