Houston-based IPA top 100 firm Weaver (FY23 net revenue of $255 million) has announced that Youmna Assad has been admitted as an assurance partner in the firm’s growing alternative investment fund practice. She is based in Weaver’s Sacramento, Calif., office.

With more than 20 years of experience in financial reporting and auditing, Youmna has managed complex attest engagements with a focus on investment funds and real estate. She has led audits, reviews, compilations and agreed-upon procedures for real estate private equity funds, private debt funds and venture capital funds within the commercial real estate industry and offers a deep understanding of various basis of reporting, fund structures, investment strategies, allocations and waterfalls.
