Rolfes & Swisher Joins Clark Schaefer Hackett

Miamisburg, Ohio-based Clark Schaefer Hackett & Co. (CSH) (FY22 net revenue of $101.9 million), an IPA 100 firm, has announced that members of Rolfes & Swisher have joined CSH, effective July 1.

This strategic partnership brings together the strengths of both firms, allowing for an expanded array of services and greater expertise in accounting, tax compliance, tax consulting and business advisory services for closely held and family-owned businesses.

Gerald J. Rolfes & Associates, the predecessor to Rolfes & Swisher, was founded in 1969. In 2004, Jim Swisher purchased the practice and established Rolfes & Swisher.

Kerry Roe, president of CSH, expressed his enthusiasm for the deal: “We are delighted to welcome Rolfes & Swisher to CSH. This partnership aligns with our strategic vision of providing comprehensive and specialized services to our clients. The expertise and professionalism that Jim and his team bring will be invaluable to our continued growth and success.”

Swisher said, “Over the years, I have had numerous opportunities to refer clients to CSH for services we did not provide. The professionalism and expertise displayed by CSH employees were exceptional. Joining CSH is the right decision for Rolfes & Swisher, as it allows us to offer a wider array of services and access to a superb team with deep expertise.”

Swisher, Alan Rengering and their team will be working from CSH’s downtown Cincinnati office.
