Newport News Va.-based IPA top 100 firm PBMares (FY22 net revenue of $68.5 million) has established a new risk advisory consulting practice, which combines two stand-alone services, cybersecurity and internal controls.
Also, the firm has added a new service, operational excellence, to help clients access business process improvement solutions. PBMares’ risk advisory experts will provide a collaborative approach to risk management with the addition of the new service offering.
The core solutions offered by the risk advisory practice include internal audits, SOC attestations, comprehensive cybersecurity assessments, cybersecurity training and business process optimization.
The new risk advisory team will be led by partners JJ Edmunds Jr., Antonina McAvoy and senior manager Bronach Branan. Their combined experience in finance, accounting, cybersecurity and business process improvement enables them to deliver innovative, customized solutions that help clients better respond to and anticipate risk while driving growth.
