Revenue per FTE stands as a key metric that IPA examines closely year after year. As firms increasingly hire non-traditional or non-chargeable personnel, this metric emerges as a valuable indicator of a firm’s overall performance.
For all participating firms, revenue per FTE first crossed the $200,000 threshold in 2022. This year saw another large increase for all firms in the survey.
When revenue per FTE is analyzed through the lens of inflation, however, the $10,000 bump this year appears less remarkable. In fact, average revenue per FTE for all participating firms is now outpaced by inflation.
