Naperville, Ill.-based IPA top 100 firm Sikich (FY22 net revenue of $316.4 million) announces the admitting of two senior members, as the department’s revenue has surged over 30% in 2023. Ingrid Boyd assumes the role of partner while Yolanda Alvarado joins as a director.
Karen Sanchez, PIC of Sikich’s employee benefit plan audit team, stated, “Ingrid and Yolanda bring extensive experience and profound technical expertise to fortify our expanding client portfolio through efficient and high-quality plan audits.” Sanchez emphasized the significance of skilled professionals, particularly with the team’s transition to a year-round practice and the inclusion of federal plans in their audit scope.
With over two decades of public accounting experience, Boyd has advised clients on various technical matters, including SEC compliance and reporting. Alvarado, the new audit director in the employee benefit plan audit practice, brings nearly 25 years of audit expertise.
These strategic hires follow Sikich’s recent expansion efforts in its audit division, with the appointment of Julia Duquette as a partner in the federal audit practice in January.
