NJCPAs Discusses Survey on 150-Hour Credit Requirement

The New Jersey Society of CPAs (NJCPA) has released a podcast on the much-debated 150-credit-hour requirement to obtain a CPA license.

NJCPA surveyed more than 1,000 members on the controversial topic, and Aiysha Johnson, CEO and executive director, presents the findings. Hear what respondents had to say about whether new hires without 150 hours pursue CPA certification, whether there are any discernable skill differences among candidates with 120 hours versus 150 hours, whether there should be alternatives to the 150 hours, and more.

The IssuesWatch podcast is a weekly program that covers the latest business and economic issues impacting New Jersey CPAs and the business community.
