KNAV Acquires Singapore Firm

Atlanta-based IPA 400 firm KNAV PA (FY22 net revenue of $13.7 million) has merged with Natarajan & Swaminathan, a Singapore tax and audit firm.

This merger represents a significant milestone in KNAV’s ongoing commitment to enhance its local presence in the countries it operates and expanding its footprint in the Asia Pacific region. KNAV already has a strong presence in Singapore through its audit and advisory firm. KNAV also has offices in the U.K., the Netherlands and India.

Founded over five decades ago, Natarajan & Swaminathan has earned a strong reputation for providing high-quality audit and tax services to clients in Singapore. The firm will be added as a member of KNAV International Limited, a network of independent accounting firms, which recently became a member of the Forum of Firms.

Nishta Sharma, CEO of KNAV, said, “Natarajan & Swaminathan plays a vital role in strengthening KNAV’s position in Singapore and aligning with our international growth strategy. This is pivotal for our global expansion, enhancing our services in auditing, tax planning and business consulting. The merger strengthens our ability to serve clients effectively, expanding our clientele in Singapore and beyond. With three new partners and 27 additional staff members, our Singapore practice team now totals 48, including six partners, amplifying our client service capabilities.”

Natarajan & Swaminathan will continue to operate under its existing name, and its current leadership team will remain in place.
