Birmingham, Ala.-based IPA 200 firm BMSS Advisors & CPAs (FY22 net revenue of $47 million) announced that Brad Brown and Brian Jackson have been admitted as partners of the firm, which now has 34 members.
Brown has been an integral part of BMSS since 2014, serving as a senior manager in the tax department with a focus in the consumer business, manufacturing and distribution, and real estate industries. He specializes in tax and consulting work for closely held businesses.
Abacus Technologies, which was created in 2000, provides cybersecurity, managed IT services, and business intelligence. Jackson, president and COO of Abacus, has played a prominent role in the development and growth of the company.
He serves on the BMSS leadership team and oversees all executive decisions and operations of Abacus along with providing client solutions and development.
