Wagner Duys & Wood (FY22 net revenue $6.6 million) of Bethesda, Md., and Kaplan Company of Rockville, Md., merged on Jan. 1. The new name of the firm is Wagner Kaplan Duys & Wood.
Both firms are boutique tax practices in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area serving high-net-worth individuals, commercial real estate, inbound commercial real estate, professional services and the middle market. The combined firm has six partners and 27 additional team members.
