Wall Einhorn & Chernitzer Admits Two Partners

Wall Einhorn & Chernitzer (WEC) of Norfolk, Va. (FY22 net revenue of $14.9 million), has admitted two professionals to the partnership: John M. Waters and Mudi Zhang, effective Jan. 1.

Waters joined the firm in 2009, bringing more than 15 years of expertise as a CPA and auditor to his new role as shareholder. His leadership extends to e:countable, a division of WEC that provides outsourced client accounting and advisory services. Waters serves clients in the attest and outsourced accounting space with a concentrated focus on not-for-profits, multi-family real estate, professional services, and other closely held businesses.

Zhang joined WEC in 2015 and has rapidly ascended to her new role as shareholder. With over 12 years of experience, she has emerged as a trusted tax expert, specializing in business mergers and acquisitions, multi-state tax issues and family wealth preservation. Zhang is also the first remote employee to be admitted as a shareholder, signifying a major milestone for the organization’s remote workforce. Her fluency in Mandarin Chinese further enhances the firm’s capability to serve a diverse clientele.
