Charles (Chuck) Kavanagh
New York-based IPA 100 firm CohnReznick (FY23 net revenue of $920 million) announced that Charles (Chuck) Kavanagh has joined the firm as an assurance partner.
Kavanagh has more than two decades of experience providing attestation services, primarily across the consumer and industrial manufacturing industries including aerospace and defense, power production, life sciences and plastics.
Kavanagh’s strong technical experience comprises business combinations, financial statement carveouts, debt and equity transactions, share-based compensation and long-lived asset impairments. His extensive SEC reporting experience includes public offerings of debt and stock as well as annual and quarterly reporting to the SEC. In addition, Kavanagh’s regulatory compliance experience includes the implementation of SOX internal controls; reviewing SEC 34 Act filings (Form 10K, 10Q and 8K), SEC 3 Act filings (S-1, S-3, S-4, S-8), and related comfort letters; U.S. GAAP and IFRS reporting; and advising clients on proactively managing SEC and PCAOB regulatory changes.
