Houston-based abip CPAs & Advisors and San Antonio-based Brehm Havel & Company have announced their merger, a strategic move by both firms to enhance their ability to provide the service, expertise and resources needed by their clients.
With over 100 professionals and four Texas offices in Houston, San Antonio, New Braunfels and the Woodlands, Brehm Havel & Co. has a rich history supporting the San Antonio and greater Texas market with high-level, personalized tax and advisory guidance, which is a perfect blend for abip’s consultative approach to client service, the firms announced.
Founder Gene Brehm said, “Being part of the combined firm enables us to continue the level of service our clients expect and adds to our depth, with expertise in tax, accounting and assurance, as well as the additional advisory services that abip provides.” Gayle Havel added, “The vast network and depth we are able to bring to our clients is critical, and we will always put our clients as the top priority.”
“We are thrilled to merge with Brehm Havel & Co. – their reputation speaks for itself – on top of believing in common values and a commitment to excellence,” said Scott Irvine, MP at abip. The merger is effective starting Jan. 1, 2024.
