Phil Langenderfer
New York-based IPA 100 firm CohnReznick (FY23 net revenue of $920 million) announced that Phil Langenderfer has joined the firm as an assurance partner focusing on the firm’s expanding financial sponsors and financial services industry practice.
Based in Chicago, Langenderfer specializes in advising investment management clients including mutual funds, private equity funds, alternative investments funds, hedge funds and investment advisers.
“The current economic climate, marked by regulatory uncertainty and inflationary conditions, poses significant operational and compliance challenges to investment firms,” says Jeremy Swan, managing principal of the financial sponsors and financial services industry practice. “Phil has deep experience leading complex audit engagements and helping the private equity industry successfully manage risk, comply with changing regulations and maintain robust reporting protocols.”
Before joining CohnReznick, Langenderfer was a managing director for a Big 4 firm.
