Los Angeles-based IPA 200 firm GHJ (FY22 net revenue of $56.3 million) is admitting Derrick Coleman and Maria Pearman to its partnership, effective Jan. 1.
Coleman, who is the second non-accounting professional to join the firm’s partner group, has more than two decades of business experience and has been with GHJ for 15 years. He leads GHJ Search and Staffing, the firm’s recruiting division, managing the service line, developing new business, supporting existing clients and managing the internal staffing and recruitment teams.
Pearman has more than 15 years of public accounting experience and is GHJ’s beverage practice leader, specializing in internal accounting processes, financial reviews, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financial strategy and succession planning. Prior to joining GHJ in 2021, she built a boutique accounting firm focused on beverage alcohol clients in Portland, Ore.
“[Derrick and Maria] embody GHJ’s core values of Bright Minds, Brave Hearts and Bold Actions, and we are excited to have them at the table driving the future growth and direction of our firm,” says MP Tom Barry.
