Expanding its geographic footprint in the Southeast, Brentwood, Tenn.-based LBMC PC (FY23 net revenue of $192.7 million) has acquired Louisville, Ky.-based Strothman & Co.
Founded in 1983, Strothman & Co. provides a range of accounting, advisory and tax services to a wide array of individuals and businesses. When the deal becomes effective on Nov. 1, 60 professionals from the firm will join the LBMC team.
“While LBMC’s growth over the past 40+ years has been primarily organic, our firm is now aggressively opportunistic about adding talent and skills, and filling gaps in our service offerings to ensure we continue to evolve as the firm of the future,” says LBMC CEO Jeff Drummonds. “The Strothman & Co. team further enhances our service offerings and allows us to expand our Kentucky presence, where we currently serve over 100 clients across the state.”
