San Francisco-based IPA 500 firm SD Mayer & Associates (FY21 net revenue of $7 million) is acquiring the tax practice of San Francisco-based Seifer Murken Despina James & Teichman (SMDJT).
Founded in 1979, SMDJT began with a focus on tax planning, preparation and representation. Over more than 40 years, the firm has grown to provide a range of professional legal and tax advice and services to individual and business clients throughout the Bay Area. As part of the deal, SMDJT founder Douglas Murken and partner Randi Teichman will join the SD Mayer team to extend the firm’s reach in the areas of tax and probate law, trust administration and real estate transactions.
