Baker
Carmel, Ind.-based IPA 100 firm Blue & Co. LLC (FY21 net revenue of $108 million) has named Alan Baker as director of accounting and auditing and appointed him chair of its audit, accounting and quality control committee. He succeeds Mike Fleetwood, who had served in these roles since 2011.
Baker joined the firm in 2009 as the first quality control officer and became a director in 2016. During his time at the firm, he has managed Blue’s regulatory functions including internal inspection, external peer review and PCAOB inspections.
“The directorship and I are thrilled to name Alan Baker to this role,” says managing director Brad Shaw. “For the last 13 years, Alan has grown and expanded our quality control team and it is now responsible for serving the firm’s assurance practice which includes more than 1,000 clients for Blue.”
