Crowe Admits Sydney Menefee

Menefee

Chicago-based IPA 100 firm Crowe LLP (FY22 net revenue of $1.1 billion) has admitted Sydney Menefee as a partner on its financial services growth and intelligence team, where she will focus on offerings related to regulatory remediation, strategic risk and compliance, M&A and credit risk

Menefee joins Crowe from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), where she most recently served as senior deputy comptroller for midsize and community bank supervision, overseeing nearly 1,100 banks and federal savings associations and leading 1,400 national bank examiners. Prior to that role, she was the OCC’s deputy comptroller and chief accountant.

“Remaining relevant requires organizations to do and create new things, which is made even more difficult by doing them in the face of risk and regulatory pressures,” says John Epperson, managing principal of the Crowe financial services industry vertical. “We are beyond excited that Sydney has joined Crowe with her deep regulatory expertise and passion for safely and soundly advancing the financial services community and its relevance.”
